Vista Screensavers On Xp
Installing non vista software on vista computer?
I put some xp only screensavers on a vista machine. Soon after that say 1 or 2 days i got a blue screen that counted up to 100% and then rebooted and everything ok. Now i took off the non vista screensavers will that make a difference.
What im trying to find out is what effects does installing non vista software on vista computer. Was the blue screen what i should have expected
It let me instal it but not use it and got blue screen 2 days later
Even thought they didnt work today i still kept trying ot use them. They compsny who make them told me they dont work at all on vista
Try reinstalling it, this time tell it to use XP compatibility.
I think the BSOD was a coincidence since it took 2 days to happen. If it would have been right after, maybe yeah it was the software then.
